Central Midwest Ballet Academy & Friends

A first-ever ballet performance at Stone Horse Green! On FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 2026 at 6 PM, Central Midwest Ballet Academy brings classical and contemporary dance to Downtown Middleton under the open sky, followed by performances by Unincorporated Dance Lab and Madison Savoyards.

Founded in 2015, CMBA offers children quality instruction and high-level community performances. This special evening features both classical and new-works choreography by CMBA's talented, beautifully costumed dancers. After the performance, dancers will briefly interact with younger audience members — teaching ballet moves, answering questions, and taking photos.

Unincorporated Dance Lab is a new modern/contemporary dance company based in Madison. This fall, Unincorporated Dance Lab’s third season will present original works in collaboration with local choreographers and artists that contemplate on themes of discordance and dissent.

Founded in 1963, The Madison Savoyards present a staged production of a Gilbert and Sullivan or other light opera annually. Their fully-staged productions with live orchestra provide performance opportunities for young artists, community members, and emerging professionals, through English-language comic operas that are fun for audiences of all ages.

This is a perfect family evening — especially for young dance enthusiasts and musical theater lovers!
