About the event
A first-ever ballet performance at Stone Horse Green! On Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 6 PM, Central Midwest Ballet Academy brings classical and contemporary dance to Downtown Middleton under the open sky, followed by a special performance by East Side favorites the Willy Street Chamber Players. Middleton's Sustainability Committee and MG&E will also present EV 101 on Hubbard Avenue so you can check out a full lineup of electric vehicles throughout the evening.
Founded in 2015, CMBA offers children quality instruction and high-level community performances. This special evening features both classical and new-works choreography by CMBA's talented, beautifully costumed dancers. After the performance, dancers will briefly interact with younger audience members — teaching ballet moves, answering questions, and taking photos.
The Willy Street Chamber Players are dedicated to creating community through classical music. Now in their 10th season, they have become a fixture of the Willy Street neighborhood's vibrant cultural scene. Awarded a gold medal in Madison Magazine's prestigious "Best of Madison" reader poll, WSCP has received numerous accolades for its accessible and exciting performances, intelligent and fun programming, and community partnerships.
Interested in learning more about EVs (Electric Vehicles)? Attendees can view a number of EVs in the City of Middleton’s fleet and chat with the owners of a dozen popular EVs that will be on display.
This is a perfect family evening — especially for young dance enthusiasts and classical music lovers!
The Summer Music & Arts series is presented by the Middleton Community Development Authority and Spencer Real Estate Group: Celebrating 10 Years!
