Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle: Movies on the Green

Every Friday in September, the Middleton Community Development Authority is turning Stone Horse Green into an open-air theater. Grab dinner from a Downtown Middleton restaurant or pack a picnic, unfold your lawn chairs, and settle in as the stars come out and the screen lights up. All screenings are free and open to the public.

Week two brings the adventure and the laughs. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle drops four teenagers into the bodies of their video-game avatars after they discover a mysterious old console, and suddenly detention is the least of their problems. Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Nick Jonas headline this high-energy reboot that swaps the board game for a full-blown jungle survival quest. Expect big laughs, bigger stunts, and a crowd that won't want to leave when the credits roll. Come early to grab your spot on the lawn. Showtime is 7:15pm. Rated PG-13.
