Sleepless in Seattle: Movies on the Green

Every Friday in September, the Middleton Community Development Authority is turning Stone Horse Green into an open-air theater. Grab dinner from a Downtown Middleton restaurant or pack a picnic, unfold your lawn chairs, and settle in as the stars come out and the screen lights up. All screenings are free and open to the public.

Movies on the Green kicks off with a classic movie that made the Empire State Building a rendezvous point for generations of romantics. Sleepless in Seattle follows a Baltimore journalist who falls for a Seattle widower after catching him pouring his heart out on late-night radio. Starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan at the height of their rom-com powers, alongside Rita Wilson, Bill Pullman, Rosie O’Donnell, and Rob Reiner. The screening will begin at 7:30pm. Rated PG.
