Strollin’ Middleton Jazz Festival is returning to downtown Middleton for its 7th year!
The Greater Madison Jazz Consortium & Middleton Community Development Authority present the Strollin' Middleton Jazz Festival at the Stone Horse Green, 7550 Hubbard Avenue in downtown Middleton, on Saturday, September 9 from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.
On Saturday, September 9, 2023, this free annual festival will feature family-friendly activities and performances at Stone Horse Green during the day and a jazz crawl throughout venues in downtown Middleton at night. Enjoy a mix of jazz styles performed by local musicians spread out throughout Middleton’s “strollable” downtown.
The music lineup will include:
- 2:00pm Betsy Ezell, Chris Rottmayer, and Nick Moran
- 4:00pm Clay Lyons & Co.: Dexter Gordon Centennial Celebration
- 6:00pm Thaddeus Tukes Quartet
- 8:00pm Alexander McLean Quartet with Dee Alexander, John McLean, Emma Dayhuff, and Greg Artry
- With Black Power Dance between sets
All-ages art activities from 2:00-6:00pm, including Native Beadwork with Paige Skenandore, Shibori Dyeing with Liz Truong, and Sustainable Sculpture with TetraPAKMAN.
And free ice while supplies last!
